Site Description

Roseberry Topping is a well known hilltop and is pictured on many photographs of the area (including the one on the header of this site!).
There is a car park provided near the base of the hill with a small toilet block. There is a trail leading to the base of the hill, then there are numerous walks up and around the hill and forest area- some steeper than others! Roseberry Topping also forms part of the Cleveland Way. The hill is now maintained by the National Trust (see the website link for further info)

Overall this is a historic landmark on the Teesside area, with panoramic views from the summit, and worth a visit. However, because of the nature of the site it is unfortunatly not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. It also may be best to avoid it following a period of rain as it can be very muddy!
